Plus a Tommy Nelson Mommy Giveaway!
If you homeschool, you might share my current dilemma. The last couple of Bible curriculums I purchased were not at all what I was looking for. I want a curriculum that not only teaches my girls about the Bible, but one that is fun and engaging as well. I want my kids to be so excited about Bible learning that they can’t help but retain what they’ve been taught.
Is anyone with me on this?
Lately I have been supplementing our current Bible curriculum to make it a little more interesting, which is why I am so excited to share with you two new resources available from Tommy Nelson. My Story: Joseph and My Story: David are lively, interactive Bible stories that are retold by the main characters themselves. Page after page is splashed with bright colors and large bold print, perfect for keeping young minds interested. The books also include a fun sticker journal so kids can retell the stories themselves. They will be having so much fun reenacting the stories, they won’t even realize they are engaging in reading comprehension!
My Story: Joseph and My Story: David are great for kids ages 3 and up, but I personally feel they would be particularly great for boys. Don’t get me wrong, as soon as my daughter saw these books she was ready to dive in and start sticking the stickers all over the place! Girls will love these books toom but I think they would make great gifts for boys simply because they are about boys! I also think the green and blue covers give them a more “boyish” feel. That’s just one blogger’s opinion, of course. Just because I have a couple of boys in mind who I know will LOVE these books, doesn’t mean those of you with girls can’t get them too.
Speaking of getting My Story: Joseph and My Story: David as gifts, why not enter my giveaway? Just tell me at least one Bible learning resource you love and why. It could be an actual curriculum or simply a website you have found helpful. Enter via the Rafflecopter through Tuesday, December 31st for your chance to win both of these super awesome books! One random winner will be chosen and emailed within a few days of the giveaway’s end. Thanks Tommy Nelson Mommy for this great resource!
Until next time, happy reading!
Yours in Messiah Yeshua,
S
