His Treasure: Gems of Love from Your King by Sheri Rose Shepherd is truly a treasure of a book. Every page is filled with Biblical truths and love notes from the King, reminding women that they are valued and beautiful. Scripture verses are sprinkled throughout, along with “treasures of truth”. Every “note” is personalized and addresses a different area of life that all women struggle with, from trusting in His timing to believing He has a good plan for your life.

What I liked…

I love the beautiful binding and colors of His Treasure. Just looking at it on my shelf makes me want to pick it up and read it. It really feels like I am holding a “treasure” in my hands as I soak up the words from this pocket-sized devotional. I also really connected with Sheri’s writing. She addresses women on an intimate level, speaking to their needs and fears as she draws promise gems from scripture. The table of contents at the front makes the book easy to navigate so that if you are looking for something specific to encourage you, it’s simple to find whatever entry you need in the moment. His Treasure is one I will keep by my bedside throughout the years to enjoy over and over again.

Recommendation…

I highly recommend His Treasure to women and teen girls. The beautiful cover and interior art make it a great gift book. I already have a few gals in mind that I plan to give a copy of His Treasure to.
