Plus Mom’s Library!
I love birthdays! Give me cake and presents any day. I love throwing birthday parties and going to birthday parties. Birthdays are a time to get creative and have fun. I love coming up with unique ideas for my girls’ parties. Today’s post features some great birthday party ideas using favorite storybooks.
When my oldest turned two, we went all out in “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” style. What’s a day at the clubhouse without “Minnie’s Hair-Bow Pasta Salad” and “Pluto’s Dippin’ Dogs“? We took pictures in front of “Mickey Park” and our party guests took home bags filled with “Mouseketools”. To complete our party, I made this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Cake. Get the directions here.
Year two was great but I think we topped it this year when my daughter turned five. It was a “Mad Tea Party” to remember! Complete with Wonderland Tea , a Topsy Turvy Cake, treats and drinks with the words “Eat Me” on them, spade, heart, diamond, and club shaped sugar cookies, and “Clean Cup, Move Down” musical chairs, this party was her favorite yet!
