Plus a Tommy Mommy Giveaway!
I don’t know about you, but I am so excited for the day I will meet my Maker face to face. When I was younger, I used to hope Yeshua (Jesus) would wait to come for us until I had lived my life. I wanted to get married and raise a family. I wanted to accomplish things and see the world.
Now that I am older though, I realize what a silly wish that was. I love my family and am so amazingly blessed, but I also know that once I am with Him, nothing else will matter. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things He has in store for us.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in Elohim; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:1-3 (NIV)
We have really enjoyed the Heaven is for Real Series, so far. From the curriculum to Heaven is for Real for Kids , I have found that this series contains great, Biblical resources for teaching kids about Heaven.
Heaven is for Real for Little Ones is a new board book available from Tommy Nelson for children ages 1-4. This simplified version of the bestselling story contains twenty-four colorful pages of Biblical truths that are perfect for tiny hands to grasp.
We ended up giving this to our one-year-old for her birthday recently. She loves books and was waving the book up and down and smiling when she opened it. I really appreciated that Colton Burpo’s tale was made into a board book for little ones. I can hand it to my youngest and let her look at it without worrying that she will rip or tear or eat the pages.
What is the funniest/ cutest question your kids have ever asked you about Heaven?
When my oldest was three she asked why Elohim (God) didn’t have a phone in Heaven so we could call her Mema (grandma)? Thinking about it still warms my heart!

My daughter has sung the song Big House by Audio Adrenaline at church, so we always end up singing that around the house…and how we will play football in Heaven…I imagine we will all be great football players there since we’re not great ones here on earth. :p
